For the good of your energy bill as well as the local power grid, consider using your ceiling fan at night while turning your A/C several degrees warmer than usual.
NOTE: A counterclockwise fan direction brings the hot air up to the ceiling!
MAINTENANCE TIP #2
In the summer its best to keep your lawn a bit longer so it will shade the turf base. Keeping mower blades sharp removes that dry grass look after mowing. Water less frequently but for more time, and in the cool of the morning.
